About

Welcome to the Northeastern Conference Youth Ministries Web page. We cater to Junior Youth (10-15); Senior Youth (16-22), Young Adults (23-35) and the Young-at-heart. For Junior Youth (Pathfinder) go to www.necpathfinders.org  The Junior Youth, Senior Youth and Young Adult Divisions have been organized into eleven Federated areas:

Western New York, Northern New England, Southern New England, Long Island, Queens, Brooklyn-Staten Island, Bronx, Rockland-Westchester, Hudson Valley-Capital City, Hispanic and Franco-Haitian. (A picture of each Federation President by their area). They are governed by a constitution and bylaws which is available on this website. Just click.
We will continue to update our website as information becomes available.

To learn about the history and development of the AY; Department see the Youth Ministry Handbook.

Ellen G. Harmon-White penned the following favorite quotes:
"We have an army of youth today who can do much if they are properly directed and encouraged. We want our children to believe the truth. We want them to be blessed of God. We want them to act a part in well-organized plans for helping other youth. Let all be so trained that they may rightly represent the truth, giving them reason of the hope that is within them, and honoring God in any branch of the work where they are qualified to labor" (General Conference Bulletin, January 29, 30, 1893, p. 24.)

"Young men and young women, cannot you form companies, and as soldiers of Christ, enlist in the work, putting all your tact and skill and talent into the Master's service, that you may save souls from ruin? Let there be companies organized in every church to do this work" (Signs of the Times, May 29, 1893)

"Let there be a company formed somewhat after the order of the Christian Endeavor Society, and see what can be done by each accountable human agent in watching for and improving opportunities to do work for the Master" (Extract From Letters From Mrs. E.G. White Relative to Medical Missionary Work, letter dated October 1893).
